1. The established telephones :
The numbers of established telephones are
evidenced by general access to transmission
communication and they are 259732. Accroding to
the process of telephone development , the
coefficient of telephone permittivity ; that is
, the number of the established telephones ,
reach to 32.26 for every 100 of the population.
2. The civial and intercivial public telephone :
The network of the civial and intercivial public
telephone including the nummular and card
telephones are developed in order to insure the
welfare of citizen whom need to establishment of
telephone communication in the public passes.
Now , 2304 sets of the civial and intercivial
public telephones installed and put into
operation.
Also , Debit card system established in small
provinces of Damghan , Garmsar , Semnan ,
Shahroud in order to made facility of public
access to the telephone communication , it can
be established the civial and intercivial
telephone communication via a number with 3digit
132 and expressing the related code.
3. Mobile
Mobile is covered in the all of four town of
province from 1996 , and this coverage included
the most parts of the main road tehran – Mashhad
because of specific situation of the province.
Semnan province was among the first provinces
that all of its towns in first years of mobile
establishment and explating in cauntry were
enjoyed this important service. Immediately
after province attempt and assistance of the
communication affairs , the level of caverage
and also the number of province subscribers
increased so that this province has 85 BTS site
with different capacities now.
The statistics of mobile subscribers are 69369
now.
4. The rural communication.
Development of rural communication has been the
considerable and important performance of
transmission company of semnan province , and it
is performed as one of the most important policy
of government of Islamic Republic of Iran , in
order to the deprivation is eliminated from
rural and deprived distincts.
Transmission of semnan province could be
increased the number of villages which have
communication to 317 villages during the recent
years , they were 9 villages at the end of 1978.
5. The network of data communication :
During the recent years , it is provided the
possibility of access to the international
information stations and providing the various
and required services by making necessary
condition for expanding information network
especially ‘Internet”.
Because of it’s abilities , Internet provided
different services in addition to making
uniformity of sound , image and data.
